What can you use to remove toner from the copier machine, out of your clothing?

Removing Ink Stains

by Barry Shultz

You probably heard lots of recipes for removing ink from clothing and furniture but I'm going to share a few with you that you may not have come across yet.

We have tried ';Resolve Spot Magic Carpet Cleaner'; on a carpet in our production area and were amazed when the ink disappeared right before our eyes. It works just like the name...magic!

Lava soap works pretty good to get ink stains off your hands.

Here are some homemade remedies:

You can use rubbing alcohol to dab on stained areas. Use a cotton ball, paper towel or Q-tip.

You can remove ink stains on colored fabrics by soaking them in milk over night then washing as usual.

If the stain is on white material use a bit of lemon juice and salt made into a paste and then rub it into the stained area. Let the article hang dry in the sun and it should be bright and stain free.

Use hair spray to remove ink from painted walls and some clothing.

Another trick to remove ink stains from walls is to use toothpaste. Apply it to the stain, wait 10 minutes and wipe clean.

The absolute BEST solution, however, is Dye-Gone or ReDuRan. These amazing products are the best thing we found to remove ink stains from hands, clothing, rugs or just about anything. Click here for more information on Dye-Gone and ReDuRan.

Copier Toner

Shake off loose powder. Brush stain with toothbrush to remove remaining powder. Sponge stain with soapy water. If stain remains, apply a pretreat product and wash in hot water (if safe for fabric). What can you use to remove toner from the copier machine, out of your clothing?
Cant. What can you use to remove toner from the copier machine, out of your clothing?
I KNOW hairspray works on ball point ink stains. Try it, what do you have to lose?
look in the cleaning isle, for lestoil, it clean stuff out of clothes like magic
On washable fabrics, vacuum or blow to remove the powder, the remaining light marking can be rinsed out using LUKEWARM water and mild detergent. Hot water will set the stain. Non-washable fabrics must be dry cleaned by a good cleaner. You must explain what made the marks or his processes will fix the stain also.
Nothing that I have ever found
I know that hairspray can get permanent marker out of clothing....it might work on toner, too.

I successfully got permanent marker out of a silk blouse with hairspray....Good luck!
Hairspray works great...spray directly onto stain...rinse with cold water..repeat if necessary.
