Have a hp 2600n color laserjet printer, got the ';refill toner';?

instead of a new cartridge. now the page has an entire grey shade to it. i only replaced the black toner, wanted to see if it worked, guess not. any help? i was told to print 20-30 sheets and it should go away, after 90-100 sheets it is still there. is it possible that some toner powder spilled out of of the filled side to the waste side then out of the waste side and into the cartridge? if so, can it be saved/fixed/cleaned. I did notice that after i filled it, the waste side had a bunch of toner in it, where it was empty. any help with this would be great.Have a hp 2600n color laserjet printer, got the ';refill toner';?
No, it is not possible that the waste toner spills out and back into the cartridge. They are in separate sections and it cannot go back around to be used again.

What is happening in your cartridge/printer is that the toner that is used in your refilled cartridge is not exactly compatible with the printer. This makes sense because the original manufacturers spend a tonne of money in R%26amp;D to make sure everything works well together.

The toner's electrostatic properties are not balanced, so in areas where it is supposed to be repelled totally (the blank part of your printed paper), a bit of it is getting attracted to the drum. So you get a shade of grey that covers everything, hence your entire sheet of paper has some little bit of black toner on it (so it looks grey to the eye).

In an original cartridge, toner is formulated so that it only goes to where it is supposed to and gets repelled from where it is not supposed to go.

There is not really a lot you can do except to change the cartridge to an original or try another refiller to see if their toner is slightly better. Or if it is not too serious, you can live with it. Some situations will make this look even worse, eg. using glossy media or in high humidity conditions.Have a hp 2600n color laserjet printer, got the ';refill toner';?
just call a professional help on this one, you'r printer need a major check up, refilled toner are okay to used , but beware how it is refilled , and i know there s a chip replacement on every toner cartridges in order to work on your printer.
