It sports an automatic document feeder (ADF), and has duplex (two-sided) printing. Canon Pixmas have some of the best quality scans and printouts, but their ink is expensive, and if you run out of ink, the whole unit stops working (scanner, etc) until you replace the ink. The lowest cost ink option if you print A LOT is to pay up front for a color laser printer. The best printer is an HP Photosmart Printer it has a Printer, colour and black and white, a scanner, copier, red eye removal, and is not to pricy
